As a photographer I’m fortunate enough to go to all the region’s best stately homes. Dani and Neil chose the 200-year-old country mansion, Doxford Hall, for their wedding. In addition to its old stone fireplaces, classic leather armchairs and grandfather clocks are the order of the day here. Another reason couples enjoy Doxford are its gardens which boast a yew maze. Neil and Dani’s wedding was the perfect balance of elegance and spontaneity. It’s a great idea if possible to have your bridal preparations at the venue. You have more room, don’t need to worry about transport and let’s face it, it just feels more special. Dani looked like a film star while getting ready and I think you can see that from the photos.
Master of Ceremonies
One thing that really made this wedding was the couples friend and MC. Having a friend act as your MC can really help your wedding have a personal feel. But remember you are therefore at risk of some embarrassing secrets being revealed too.
